Generally, men likes vivid colors and prefer flowers with brighter shades such as red, orange, purple, green and yellow. As much as possible avoid pink, lilac, mauve, fuchsia or any colors that connotes femininity. Use these colorful shades in creating a flower arrangement for men and allow green shades to dominate the set since it means vegetation. For them, it implies a “manly” thing.
The second idea that you need to keep in mind is the type of flower. They like flowers with defined structures and clear shapes as this connotes a male persona. They prefer robust kind of flowers such as sunflowers, gerberas, daisies and tropical flowers. When choosing a rose, it is best to select the brightly colored ones such as the orange and yellow roses. Furthermore, they also like interesting flowers such as irises, snap dragons, blue hydrangeas, grape hyacinth and many others.
Next, the flower scent is an essential factor to consider in choosing a kind of flower. Men are not like women who keep on smelling the sweet scent of the flower all the time so avoid those flower species with strong scents. The most suitable for the males are musky, earthy and fruit scents such as tulips, lupine, carnations, bluebells and delphinium. Avoid star gazer lilies because they have those sweet feminine smells which do not attract men.
Lastly, the event or occasion should be thought off when giving flowers for a guy. For birthday, graduation or any happy occasion, you can give brighter shades of flowers. White, green and blue-colored flowers are better choices as sympathy flowers. For romantic events, you can give tulips, orchids or roses.
Thus, a great and genuine way to let your man feel loved and important is a set of flowers. If you know how to select the perfect set of flowers for him, you will definitely take his breath away!
